Do Power and Commitment Impart Organizational Citizenship Behavior?

Shaping the behavior of employees determines one crucial duties organizations. Mobilizing power and getting commitment from individuals is foundation for effective organizational citizenship (OCB). This research aims to focus on key factors influencing OCB in banking industry Bangladesh. Structural equation modeling was used analyze data. A questionnaire survey collect data different banks operating The result reveals that critical aspects social power, e.g., reward, legitimate, expert, referent confirm their influence (OC). In contrast, coercive fails connect with OC towards OCB. However, this paper also successfully brings them together describe linkage through mediation by quantify relationship. Furthermore, similar can be extended other developing countries having same economic status.
